Ok so for once I am going to write about something of some importance. So religous views seems to be an interesting with me. So I will actaully talk about it. NOTE: I will only talk about a few religions wich I disagree with..
Christianity: Hmm first off isnt it christians who believe that one man was perfect and no others? aa yes that man was jesus. The sinless man but if you read the bible you see that you let them scar his body and let them kill him. So therefore wouldnt it be a suicidal attempt. Also scarring or tattooing of your body is a sin it states that in the bible in the old testament. It also states god tattooed are names on the palm of his hand. There is a few sins and yet. He lies about being perfect? Ding get it. Not perfect. To quote myself since im fucking kick ass..."The only way to ever be perfect is to never have lived at all."-ME
Jews..: Ok so the Jewish dont believe in jesus having been here already. Yet the bible clearly states JESUS WAS JEWISH So therefore there idiots and need to be kicked and hit with sticks..enough said for that one onto the next one
Satanism: Now I have read some of the black bible and I dont know a whole lot about it, but I do know that this black bible shows you ways of unhappiness. Like caring for yourself before others. Now you can care for yourself at all times so YOUR FUCKED. Also to worship something as stupid as satan..well thats like..THATS LIKE GEORGE BUSH AND HOW GAY HE IS:)..well anywho..
I am out for the day. Yup If you read that im sure your alot dumber but sorry...
[Moral of the day] No matter what religion you are..its probably wrong..sorry to tell ya^_^
NOTE: I do not mean to offend anyone I am just stating my ideas..

My turn.
Christianity is a religion that contradicts itself more times than I jipped history. (And I jipped history a lot.) It tells you to kill and not to kill, what to eat, wear, and all sorts of other things. It sets way too many rules and restrictions on life. Pretty much everyone who doesn't live under a rock is going to Hell, according to the bible. yes, christianity does have a few useful teachings, but for the most part it's full of shit.
I don't know much about the Jewish faith, so I'm not going to say anything.
Same goes for most of the other religions.
But, I noticed Tripp brought up Satanism. I have read most of the Satanic Bible. No, I'm not a Satanist. In case you didn't know, I'm agnostic. But I do have my veiws on Satanism, and they aren't nearly as critical as my veiws on Christianity. Satanists believe in self-indulgence and satisfaction of your needs first, and then, maybe, everyone else's needs. Satanists believe the so-called "sins" of other religions are part of natural human behavior, which, for the most part is ACTUALLY TRUE. They believe that doing these "sinful" things leads to self gratification. Which for the most part, is alo true.
Satanists DO NOT believe in placing needless restrictions on yourself for no reason other than "It's in the Bible", or something along those lines. Why deny yourself teh experience of living life to the fullest? To the Satanist, life is something that shouldn't be wasted by using pointless rules and restrictions upon oneself.
Satanists DO NOT believe in sacrificing babies, animals or women ad nauseum. (sp?) once again, to the Satanist, life is a great thing that should not be wasted.
People who say Satanism is "evil" couldn't be further from the truth! I don't understand how something that encourages to act in the way you feel is most appropriate can be considered "evil". Personally, I think that placing restrictions on anything is wrong. Christianity and other religions put a restriction on everything, from food to fashion and they even go so far as to supress human nature! Somewhere along the line, something went wrong.
But yeah, That's my blab on Religion.
If anyone is interested in hearing more or me blabbling about Satanism and why it's not evil , let me know. If any of you are interested in a copy of teh Satanic Bible, tell me in a reply or PM me if you don't want to let everyone else know you're more interested in Satanism.

Ahhh the religious conflicts that arise from the dust of an old tome.
I will argue with nothing that has been said. some of it I agree with. Christianity, ahh there be a fun one to dice with. Satinism, dark and sinister tho it appears what in truth can be spared, Jewish was their faith and so they lost.
All religions have thier quirks, and screw ups. This is a world wide public agreement. But I have long since stopped arguing about the screw ups in others, when my own may be dragged upon the cutting board.
The way I see it, Is altho these said religions and many others have conflicting material, and sometimes make no sense what so ever, they all contain the matter of belief, if a person believes in a religion, usually they embrace it, or they accept it dispite its unconsitancies (sp?). I for one don't care what releigion a person is, nor do I care if it seems so back assed. It is still a belief, wethere it makes sense or not, well thats another matter. It still deserves at least a bit of respect.
then again this comes from someone who is always living within herself

Jedi eh? lol Thats a first, normally I'm called yoda, but we won't go there.
hehe, I'm sorry for my cryptic answers they pop out every now and then when I don't feel like explaining anything. But to answer your question of what I ment by saying I live within myself, I live as others do, but if the world around me feels threating, or demanding, I turn within, I rarely leave that place of solitude. That is where I contemplate most things I see, hear, learn, and know about life. all aspects. I'm a philosopher....

let them scar his body and let them kill him. So therefore wouldnt it be a suicidal attempt. According to christians though, jesus died for the salvation of others and presumable that applies for Christans today (though i cannot quite grasp that idea)...not sure it could be classed as a suiced attempt as it was not him whom was doing the scarring nor was it him who killed himself.. I can't be bothered going into my big long rant about religion right now...i don't agree with any form of religion (although it seems i am 'tied' to the catholic church...however not thought choice) i chose to stay out of religion, it cases too much problems...geh... x

I'm too lazy to read it all.
I don't believe in having a religion period, but I do believe that there is someone out there. Something greater than us to a point which we can't comprehend it. I have faith.

I used to have long conversations about religion and how stupid it is with my friend. We would talk about it for hours. We nit picked every flaw, every contradiction....it was rediculous. In the end, I decided that, yes there are a lot of religions that I don't agree with, but who am I to judge the people who follow them...it would make me just as "bad" as them in my own mind.
A religion is just your way of life, honestly. It's your set morals, values and beliefs that you live by each day. Everybody's are different. Some choose to follow a crowd and a set of rules and morals that have been set down by someone else....and others choose to make their own rules. People love to generalize when it comes to religion. "All christians are like this..." and "All jews are like that..." Honestly, it's not true. Religion is personal, no matter which faith you follow. It affects each person differently, and each person interprets their religion differently. So even if the "teachings" are one way, most people take it and use it in a way that fits best with their lives. Why should we disagree with what someone else chooses to do with their life. UNLESS the impose it on you, or use it to interfere with someone else's life. But that's another story.

I agree!
Nothing is the same for everyone. and to judge one person for thier beliefs, because of what you learned from another, is stupid. Bcause as Raven so neatly says, everyone interprets it differntly.
