The administration and other staff members of this forum would like you to enjoy your time here at Writer's Hole in the Wall. However, to keep this website up and running and to prevent any sort of complications between all members, some rules, regulations, and procedures must be set and enforced to protect the welfare of every individual of this forum.
NOTE: Failure, by anyone, to follow any of the rules, regulations, & procedures set forth by the Administration and Moderating teams will result in a warning. After three(3) warnings, you will be banned for a set time period from this forum
ADMINISTRATIVE RULES
1. OBEY ALL RULES! Obey all rules set forth by the administration and the moderators of this forum.
2. KEEP FOUL LANGUAGE TO A MINIMUM! Do not use foul language in every other word of your sentence. DOing so will get you a warning.
3. ABSOLUTELY NO EMO-ICON MESSAGES! The one thing that annoys me the most are these two types of messages, where all they use are emo-icons to display a message. The definition of the term is as follows:
- EMO-ICON: These are what are known commonly as smilies.
If myself or the Moderating team find any use of this typeof message in a large quantity, disciplinary actions will be taken.
4. ABSOLUTELY NO SPAMMING! This rule covers a majority of the forum itself, private messaging, e-mail, and all other communication with members of the forum. Spamming will result in a warning that WILL NOT EXPIRE. If you spam, you will also lose your eligibility to become a staff member.
5. STAY ON TOPIC! Please do not change the subject of a specific board. If the topic is changed, try to keep the conversation short and sweet. If the off-topic conversation drags on too long, each and every person who participated in the conversation will receive a warning. Certain instances are allowed for off-topic posts.
6. POST AT YOUR OWN RISK! If you are posting a poem or any other sort of material that you wrote, you are posting at your own risk. If you do not want anyone to copy your material, please be sure to put a copyright notice on it. If you do not, other members will be free to use it however they please.
7. ABSOLUTELY NO TROLLING! The one thing that I have seen most often happen is individuals who reply to themselves or take over an entire board. If you do any of these two things, you will receive a warning that will not expire until further notice.
8. ADMINISTRATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MODIFY OR DELETE ANY AND ALL POSTS! Here at Writer's Hole in the Wall, I have the absolute right to modify your posts. If I do not like what you have posted and I want to modify it, I will. If you see something like this: « Last Edit: Today at 9:23am by Zetacon the Sage of Darkness », that means I have read your post and modified it accordingly.
9. NO INSULTS OR VERBAL ATTACKS! That includes via e-mail, the private messaging system, and all other means of communication. If you verbally attack someone, you will feel my unrelenting wrath as I strike darkness into your fragile heart. On top of that, you will be banned. If you happen to be a victim of harassment, report it to the administration.
